- Call to order.
- Introductions:
- All neighbors
- Store leased out: New proprietors: Robin, and his wife, Kamal – will be here to introduce themselves and their plans for the store.
- Approve Minutes of meeting of September, 2019. (attached)
- Reminder of Decisions Made in September, 2019 meeting:
- Dues for the current year are now $150/lot (effective 9/1/2019)
- Jim Johansen should install the “Wen-Ken” solution for the entrances to bridge if <$2000. Jim will give additional info on what and when later in meeting.
- Leora remains the Secretary/Treasurer.
- Still to be done from 2018 year’s meeting:
- Leora will change the by-laws to allow just going over decisions made at the beginning of each meeting – this allows the current meeting to have prior context. The holdup is finding the document with the by-laws. (still)
- Jim will find out the cost for using reclaimed/ground-up asphalt on Glenwood Lane. Awaiting cost estimate from Jake.
- Treasurer’s report and any dues in arrears (as of 9/1/2020)
- (see end of Agenda) Current real balance: $9682.73 (last year, it was $6098.33). Spent the most on rock, and it wasn’t much, but owe Jake for his work this year.
- Missing dues from 8 members for 2020 (9/2/2019-9/1/2020). We currently have $550.00 in arrears for 2014-2018. Total in arrears $1950.00. Starting to collect for 2021 dues (9/2/2019-9/1/2020). Several will be cleaning up the arrears (thank you!).
- Old business:
- Update on the bridge work to be done by BPA. Got even further than the prior year: BPA resubmitted paperwork for the permit, and this time it was approved! During the year, several people from BPA met up with Jim and Leora, and later with Jim and Kevin Cameron (store owner) to discuss exactly what would be done and how to accomplish it. However, once the Pandemic started, BPA stopped all non-emergency work. Next year?
- Update from Jim on the Wen/Ken solution for the ends of the bridge.
- New Business:
- Back to doing our own maintenance.
- Info on how to find out about fire restrictions: (select Glenwood, read panel on left) (See appendix for what it looks like, as of 9/19/20, and when danger is Extreme)
- For everything else about wildfires: Extremely comprehensive!
- Fires being set intentionally in a few places, be on the lookout for this.
- Reminder that the easement for Glenwood lane is 30’ wide the whole length of the easement from the highway to the end of the lane (15 feet each side of the center line). The new stairs from Glenwood store is in violation. Any other violations? As long as people don’t claim “ownership” of the easement and it’s understood that any such stairways, fences, or structures in the easement may have to be removed for passage of a large load, nothing needs to be done right at this moment. I’ve attached the Glenwood Lane agreement that has the offsets.

- Officer elections: The President’s position (3 year term) is up for election. Jim will volunteer for another year to see bridge project completed (his nemesis!).
- Pave from the road to the bridge, so can put in speed bump?
