WHEN: 6:30PM on Wednesday, 9/4/2019

WHERE: In Carol Stewart’s and Sean Senko’s yard at 18069 NW Grimmett Dr. (corner of Glenwood & Grimmett)

AGENDA:

  1. Call to order.
  2. Minutes of meeting of September, 2018 will be approved. Rehash of Decisions Made:
    1. Leora will change the by-laws to allow just going over decisions made at the beginning of each meeting to allow the current meeting to have prior context [Still looking for the by-laws!]
    2. Agreed to the purchase & installation of new mailboxes and protective bollards. [Done]
    3. Jim will find out the cost for using reclaimed/ground-up asphalt on Glenwood Lane [?]
    4. Due to increased cost to correct washboarding, and real fear of the safety of kids/dogs/property near the store and bridge, Leora, Jim, and Sinsing will create a special email addressing this. [done. Everyone – have the underlying issues improved?]
    5. Motorcycle issues will be addressed by a letter to all homeowners detailing concerns/issues. [Done – I’ve been told that this is much better, this year. Thank you, Rick LaFave, for the actions you, personally, took to help this.]
    6. Liens will be pursued when any landowner becomes more than $400 behind in payments.
    7. SinSing is the new Vice President
  1. Treasurer’s report and any dues in arrears (as of 8/27/2019)
    1. (see end of Agenda) Current real balance: $6098.33. Spent: $8824 on mail boxes (approx.. ½) and road maintenance, but only collecting roughly $3000 in dues.
    2. Missing dues from 8 members for 2019 (9/2/2018-9/1/2019). We currently have $650.00 in arrears for 2014-2018. Total in arrears $1450.00. Starting to collect for 2020 dues (9/2/2019-9/1/2020).
  2. Old business:
    1. Update on the bridge work to be done someday by BPA. – Got farther – submitted paperwork for the permit, which was denied. Expect to resubmit for next year.
    2. Any luck on the Wen/Ken solution at the ends of the bridge? [several people complained about the bumps on the entrances to the bridge – I am hoping that those are better, now?]
  3. New Business:
    1. Should have a new neighbor, Stacey Ladd, who should have bought Doug Johnson’s place by 8/31.
    2. Given that road maintenance is now yearly outpacing membership dues, we HAVE to raise the dues. (Plus, we DO need a buffer.) Suggested dues: $150/lot.
    3. Thank you to Gary Miller and Jim Johansen for recouping $750 by selling the old mailboxes. (1 mailbox cluster and 1 parcel box sold.)
    4. Officer elections: The Secretary/Treasurer position (3 year term) is up for election.
    5. Open forum. Good of the order.
