- OLD BUSINESS;
#1. There was a discussion about the results of oiling the road this last summer. The benefit of oiling the road give’s a nice hard surface on top of the road as well as keeping the dust down. This will help keep our maintenance cost down too. We put the oil down on July 6th 2012 and 6 loads of rock were put on last Nov.9th 2011.
#2. The project for repair of our bridge abutments by BPA was to start this last summer. Jim informed us that they do not have the funds for it due to cut-backs on various projects. It may be delayed a few years. We will stay in contact with them.
#3. Majority of the members were current for the year 2011. We have two members in arrears. As of this notice we have 15 H.O.A. members paid up on their dues. I will send your current dues statement with this letter. If you have any questions about your account please call me at 503-357-7529. As a reminder: If we have any members who don’t pay their dues, we can go on-line and purchase lien forms now for about $20.00. The recording fee is about $25.00. at Wa. Co. This has been reviewed and approved by attorney Barney Brink.
- NEW BUSINESS;
#1. There was a general discussion about the road. It has been holding up well. We are appreciative that Gary keeps the pot holes filled and grades the road with his tractor.
Jim received a quote from Bretthauer Road Oil. For a placement of a double application chip seal on Glenwood Lane. For $14,938.00 as of Sept.
III. OPEN FORUM
#1. Last we heard from Frontier phone co. about the (DSL) was that they are at least 3 month’s behind in installing their equipment. We hope they will have it done this winter.
#2. John McGinnis gave us some forms for any of you who would like for the fire Dept. to install a free address sign to put at the beginning of each road. This would let the emergency crews know better how to locate your home. These signs reflect at night as well. I am inclosing the form with this letter.
- ELECTIONS FOR OFFICE OPEN;
Last year Shelley Johansen resigned as V.P. and volunteered for sec-Treas. And Leora Gregory volunteered to finish out her term.
Leora Gregory volunteered via e-mail to be V.P. It was 1st. and 2nd. It was passed unanimously. Next year we vote for Pres. Term. A big thanks to Leora for volunteering!
Elections closed.
Meeting Adjourned; at 10: 45 am. Thanks to those who came to the meeting.
